At the heart of the KBB63 are UL/CSA Recognized ball-bearing motors available in both permanent split capacitor and shaded pole configurations. Each motor incorporates automatic-reset thermal overload protection to safeguard against failure due to overcurrent or overheating. Kooltronic's engineering approach prioritizes extended motor life by designing for low temperature rise and utilizing the blower's intake air to actively cool the motor during operation, reducing thermal stress and degradation over time.
