The Guardian DP47L-1NEMA 4 Air Conditioner is a closed-loop cooling system designed to maintain precise temperature control within electrical enclosures, protecting sensitive components from heat and humidity damage in industrial environments. This unit employs a closed-loop architecture that isolates the enclosure's internal airflow from ambient conditions, ensuring that cool, dehumidified air reaches critical equipment without contamination from outside air or moisture.

The system features CFC-free R134a refrigerant and includes epoxy-coated condenser and evaporator coils that withstand 1000 hours of salt spray testing per ASTM B 117, providing robust corrosion resistance in challenging operational settings. A built-in condensate evaporator eliminates the need for manual drainage under normal operating conditions, with overflow protection via an included drain fitting and hose for high-humidity applications. The compressor short cycle protector prevents damage from frequent restarts caused by fluctuating heat loads or power interruptions, significantly extending compressor life and reducing operational costs. Additional operational refinements include hot gas bypass valve functionality, thermal expansion valve control, condenser impeller cycling for energy efficiency, and a condenser air filter to maintain peak performance.
