The Profile Series DP47 is an air-cooled panel-mounted air conditioner designed for flexible installation in industrial control enclosures, delivering efficient cooling and dehumidification for sensitive electronic components. Built with a heavy-duty steel shell finished in baked powder coating per ANSI 61 gray specifications, the unit resists corrosion and wear in demanding environments, with custom color options available to meet specific aesthetic or identification requirements. The epoxy-coated condenser coil provides enhanced durability, withstanding 1000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B 117 testing, making it suitable for moderately corrosive applications.

The Profile Series employs a closed-loop cooling design that completely isolates the dehumidified enclosure interior from ambient airflow, preventing external contaminants and humidity from compromising sensitive components. A built-in condensate evaporator eliminates the need for manual draining under typical operating conditions, though an overflow condensate drain fitting and hose are included for high-humidity installations. The unit utilizes environmentally responsible CFC-free R134a refrigerant and features an electronic low-temperature thermostat that prevents over-cooling while optimizing energy efficiency. A solid-state condenser impeller speed controller modulates fan speed based on coil temperature, substantially reducing noise, fan cycling, compressor cycling, and freeze risk.

The Profile Series offers unprecedented mounting flexibility, engineered for either internal or external installation on the enclosure. Its exceptionally compact depth makes it the thinnest indoor/outdoor air conditioner in the Kooltronic line, enabling deployment in space-constrained applications previously unable to accommodate traditional units. All units maintain NEMA 12 and 3R ratings per UL 50 with full gasket sealing for leakproof installation. The system includes a minimum six-foot three-wire power cord and is UL/CUL Listed for assured compliance with electrical and safety standards.
