The Profile Series DP38 480 Volt is a panel-mounted air conditioning system engineered to maintain precise temperature and humidity control within industrial electrical enclosures and sensitive equipment compartments. Operating at 480 volts, this unit delivers robust cooling capacity while safeguarding critical components from thermal and moisture-related damage in demanding industrial environments.

The unit features a heavy-duty steel shell finished with a baked powder coating in ANSI 61 gray, with custom color options available upon request. The epoxy-coated condenser coil withstands 1000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B 117 testing, making it suitable for moderately corrosive settings, though severe environments such as wastewater treatment facilities may require additional corrosion protection--consult factory for specific recommendations. A closed-loop cooling design ensures the enclosure interior remains completely isolated from ambient airflow, preventing warm, moist outside air from contaminating the cool, dehumidified sensitive component area. The built-in condensate evaporator eliminates the need for manual drainage under normal operating conditions, though overflow drain fittings and hose are included for use in extremely high humidity applications with open or leaky enclosures.

The DP38 incorporates advanced controls including a solid-state condenser impeller speed controller that modulates fan speed based on coil temperature, reducing noise, minimizing compressor and fan cycling, and preventing freeze-up conditions. An electronic low-temperature thermostat prevents over-cooling and optimizes energy efficiency.
