The Guardian DP38 incorporates advanced cooling technology to ensure reliable operation under demanding conditions. Its closed-loop cooling system isolates the enclosure interior airflow from ambient conditions, preventing warm or humid external air from compromising the dehumidified sensitive component compartment. The built-in condensate evaporator eliminates the need for manual drainage under normal operating conditions, with an overflow drain fitting and hose included for additional protection in high-humidity applications. The epoxy-coated condenser and evaporator coils withstand 1000 hours of salt spray testing per ASTM B 117, providing extended service life in moderately corrosive environments.
