The Honeywell Spyder is a Unitary Programmable Controller with 4 input/outputs (1 UI 1 AO 2 DO). It features BACnet MS/TP and RS-485 communication platforms, allowing individual licensing per controller. With a robust real-time clock and Sylk bus integration, the Spyder supports smooth operation with Sylk-enabled sensors. Offering EIA-485 network communication capable of baud rates ranging from 96 to 1152 kbit/s, it supports up to 40 controllers for each BACnet MS/TP segment, although 30 or fewer controllers are recommended for optimum performance.

The Spyder's housing and actuator both carry the UL Plenum rating. For convenience, this design includes removable terminal blocks for all wiring connections, facilitating easier installation and replacement.

In terms of technical specifications, the Spyder operates with a power voltage of 15 VAC within a valid range of 20 to 30 VAC, tolerating operating temperatures from -40 F to 150 F. This product is UL/cUL (E87741) listed under UL916 (Standard for Open Energy Management Equipment), and comes with a Plenum rating that meets FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B (Radiated Emissions) requirements. The controller is applicable for fan coils, heat pumps and unit heaters, offering easy DIN rail mounting.
