This product is a highly versatile programmable VAV controller from the Spyder family of Honeywell controllers. It features six User Inputs (UI), four Digital Inputs (DI), three Analog Outputs (AO), and six Digital Outputs (DO). A key feature of this controller is its individual LON licensing, using the Echelon LonWorks Network protocol for seamless connectivity.
The Spyder Controller offers advanced functionalities with a built-in actuator, real time clock, and Sylk Bus. Zone control functions are integrated within the system and encompass a remote wall module interface and a scheduler for efficient control. The Spyder, 19 I/O Controller has an inbuilt Microbridge Air Flow Sensor, utilizing a dual integral restrictor design, ensuring easy user access to the sensor inputs.
The actuator mounts directly onto the VAV box damper shaft and provides an impressive output capability up to 44 lb-in torque, with a 90-degree stroke, and 90-second timing at 60 HZ. Wiring connections are made to removable terminal blocks, simplifying controller installation and replacement.
The controller operates on a 24 VAC power supply, and has an acceptable operating temperature range of 32 F to 122 F. It uses a high-speed Free Topology Transceiver (FTT) with 78-kilobit network communication versatility. Designed for Sylk-enabled sensors, it can function independently or paired with the LonWorks bus network communication.
With a capacity to link 116 controllers per Q7751A,B router when configured as a repeater, the Spyder, 19 I/O controller showcases top-notch programmability. It is field configurable and exhibits enhanced functionality when paired with the Niagara Framework software, which permits the users to program diverse HVAC applications.
This controller features user-defined network variables, function block engines, and several key operational notifications, including Significant Event Notification and Periodic Update Capability. It operates within UL and cUL (E87741) under UL916 product safety standards, and complies with FCC requirements for radiated emissions. It can be mounted directly on damper shafts and is ideal for applications involving fan coils and VAV.
