The Honeywell Spyder, 10 IO controller, is a programmable, unitary, and standalone device with four User Interfaces (UI), two Analog Outputs (AO), and four Digital Outputs (DO). Capable of operating with BACnet MS/TP, it uses RS-485, allowing for individual licensing.
Providing real-time clock functionality, it features a Sylk Bus that is compatible with both Sylk-Enabled sensors. The controller is capable of managing an EIA-485 communications network with Baud Rates ranging from 96 and 1152 kbits/s. The unit enables support for up to 40 controllers per BACnet MS/TP segment, although numbers under 30 are recommended.
Its durable, UL Plenum rated housing and actuator make it ideal for numerous HVAC applications. The controller uses a Function Block Engine that allows custom programming by the user. It comes with built-in zone control functions which encompasses a remote wall module interface and a scheduler.
Equipped with a Microbridge Air Flow Sensor featuring Dual Integral Restrictor Design, the Spyder 10 IO accommodates models such as PVB0000AS, PVB4022AS, PVB4024NS, PVB6436AS, and PVB6438NS. The model provides user-friendly access to air flow sensor inputs.
Its actuator, adopted by the PVB0000AS, PVB4022AS, and PVB6436AS models, can be installed directly onto VAV box damper shafts and exerts up to 44 lb-in torque, with a 90-degree stroke and 90-second timing at 60 Hz. To simplify controller installation and replacement, all wiring connections are made to removable terminal blocks.
