This Honeywell Proportional Temperature Controller has a set point temperature range of 55°F to 175°F, which is easily adjustable as it can be read and tuned through the controller's cover. As part of its design, it employs a copper bulb sensor element, measuring half an inch in diameter and 3-9/16 inches in length, to monitor and regulate the temperature. To further enhance its efficiency, a 135 ohm Potentiometer is utilized and contained within its structure. A distinguishing feature of this controller is its rapid response models that are particularly suitable for duct mounting, these use a coiled sensing element, delivering a response time that is at least four times faster than standard models.

It is also equipped with an ambient temperature compensation mechanism, ensuring that it adjusts for the case and tubing temperatures. The unit comes standard with a 5 foot capillary tubing for the sensing element, making possible the remote placement of this component. The controller's throttling range is conveniently modifiable via a throttling dial within the case. With the capability to handle a maximum temperature of 175°F and a minimum of 55°F, the Proportional Temperature Controller is designed with one sensor input.
