The On-Off Primary Control with Prepurge is a highly reliable 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz Honeywell product designed for intermittent pilot type applications. This unit has an intermittent main flame establishing period and provides a 4-second or 10-second pilot flame establishing period. It has been specifically made to work in tandem with the Honeywell's 7800 series amplifiers and includes an ignition cutout feature during PFEP (Pilot Flame Establishing Period).
Key functionalities of this control system include automatic burner sequencing, flame supervision, system status indication, as well as offering integrated system or self-diagnostics and troubleshooting mechanisms. For it to function at full capacity, a subbase, amplifier, and prepurge timer are necessary.
This controller offers an array of optional features including a Modbus interface, a keyboard display module, a remote display module, and a first-out expanded annunciator. Five LEDs are built in to provide sequence information and the plug-in amplifiers are interchangeable. Local or remote annunciation of operation and fault information can be leveraged using the optional S7800 Keyboard Display Module.
Uniquely, this unit features a non-volatile memory that retains history files and lockout status even in instances of power loss. The controller also allows the operator to choose between relight or lockout on loss of flame. Finally, this control is suitable for operating conditions ranging from -40 F to 140 F, making it versatile across diverse industrial environments.
