The On-Off Primary Burner Control by Honeywell is designed with a pre and programmable post purge, operable by 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It comes with a selectable pilot type, providing a 4-second or 10-second period to establish the pilot flame. A unique feature includes a blinking LED fault annunciation and a 5-second MFEP, compatible with 7800 Series Amplifiers.
This apparatus offers an array of services like automatic burner sequencing, flame supervision, in addition to system status indication. It has self-diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities that ensure the efficiency and safety of the project. The post purge can be programmed using an S7800A1142 Keyboard Display, however, this is not provided with the product.
In case of a safety shutdown, a power LED projects a fault code. To fully operate, a subbase, amplifier, and purge card are obligatory requirements. The control system comes with options for a Modbus interface, keyboard display module, remote display module, and first-out expanded annunciator, for facilitating easier interaction and control.
Five LEDs are integrated into the system to provide sequence information and there are also interchangeable plug-in amplifiers. For enhanced user-friendly experiences, both local and remote annunciations of operation and fault information are provided by the S7800 Keyboard Display Module. In spite of a power loss, non-volatile memory holds on to history files and lockout status.
The system is responsive either by a recycle or lockout in case of loss of airflow or flame, and also includes a shutter drive output. The burner control can operate under conditions ranging from -40 F to 140 F. The prepurge duration is determined by the ST7800A Purge Timer Card and it comes with selectable interlocks to allow or hinder process actions.
