The Economizer Damper Actuator Spring Return is a premier Honeywell product that boasts a 25 in-lb torque rating. Equipped with a thermistor and a modulating control signal, this device operates at 24VAC and uses 8 VA power. One of its main highlights is the use of a synchronous motor which is highly efficient and operates quietly.

In the event of a power failure, the device is designed with a spring return mechanism which ensures the motor shaft returns to its normal position. Manufactured from high impact, glass-fiber reinforced plastic, the housing of the device is not only rugged and lightweight but also resistant to corrosion.

As an added feature, the Economizer Damper Actuator Spring Return is compatible with the Q298B Linkage. In terms of power consumption, the device uses 8 VA while driving and reduces this to 5 VA while holding. For operating conditions, this product can withstand temperatures as low as -25 F up to 125 F (-32 C to 52 C).
