Honeywell Direct Coupled Actuator, 27 lb-in - MS7503A2130/U

The Honeywell Direct Coupled Actuator is a 27 lb-in spring return device that operates on a 24 VAC and carries a 6/3 VA rating. It features a single pole double throw (SPDT), floating switch, alongside adaptable functionality of 2-10 VDC and 4-20 mA, fortified by a 500 ohm resistor for effective On/Off operation.

The actuator can be deployed for controlling volume dampers, either by direct mounting on the drive shaft or remotely with compatible accessory hardware. Further refining its versatility, it’s suitable for quarter-turn rotary valves, including ball or butterfly valves, which can be directly mounted to the drive shaft. Select models are also available with an integrated cable.

From a technical standpoint, the actuator boasts efficient power consumption, operating on 24 VAC. Regardless of environmental conditions, the device can function optimally within a wide temperature range, anywhere between -40 F and 150 F (-40 C to 65 C).

The actuator provides field wiring electrical connections with 18 AWG to 14 AWG conductors, and can accommodate up to 2-14 AWG conductors to screw terminals. This assembly is strategically placed under the removable access cover for streamlined accessibility. In addition, the actuator houses one SPDT auxiliary switch and features a self-centering shaft adapter, or shaft coupling, as part of its robust design.
