The Direct Coupled 80 in-lb. Spring Return is a Honeywell product designed to provide efficient motion control. Operating on 24 VAC with a 23 VA rating, this unit offers two-position, SPST functionality and a unique reversible mounting feature that supports both clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) spring rotation.

The housing design allows it to be flush-mounted to a damper while its patented design eliminates the need for limit switches, significantly reducing power consumption. This model is also adaptable, with versions available for different voltages such as 24, 120, and 230 VAC.

One of its key features is its reliable operation in smoke control systems that demand Underwriters Laboratories Inc. UL555S ratings up to 350°F. Furthermore, it includes models with SPST position-indicating switches supporting both 7-degree and 85-degree strokes.

The integral spring return guarantees a maintained level of return torque, with a fifteen-second spring return timing. It doesn't require special cycling during long-term holding, nor does it make audible noise while holding at a reduced power level.

The actuator ensures the rated torque is held even at lower power levels, while allowing a 95-degree angle of rotation.
