The Honeywell Direct Coupled 175 in-lb. Spring Return controller is designed for precision and durability, offering a two-position, single pole, single throw (SPST) configuration with a 230 VAC and 46 VA rating. Key to its operation is an integral stainless steel spring return that consistently ensures the return torque level. Mounting is flexible due to its reversible design which offers provision for both clockwise and counter-clockwise spring rotation.

Remarkable features of this control system include an impressive fifteen-second spring return timing and the controller can maintain its rated torque at reduced power levels without requiring any special cycling during long-term holding. Certain models also feature integral high-temperature SPST position-indicating switches to combat temperatures up to 350°F, apt for monitoring strokes less than 7 degrees or greater than 85 degrees.

With a ninety-five degree angle of rotation, the controller helps achieve tight damper closure. Its housing design permits flush mounting to the damper which adds to the versatility of its installation. Efficient power consumption of this device proves to be 46 VA.
