The Honeywell Class 3400 Submeter is a robust three-phase device designed for industrial applications. It utilizes RS-485 communication abilities with a BACnet IP protocol and operates at a voltage of 480 VAC, drawing 100 Amps.
One of its defining features includes enhanced safety measures, driven by split-core current sensors providing 0 to 2 V output. These sensors are versatile as they can be remotely mounted up to 500 feet from the meter without causing any power interruptions.
The meter is also equipped with onboard installation diagnostics and a verification system that constantly monitors its performance and gives instant feedback. Its structure comprises an outdoor NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure that provides the necessary protection for indoor/outdoor installations. This enclosure features a padlocking hasp and mounting flanges and has a 1 1/16 in. knockout on the bottom.
The Honeywell Class 3400 Submeter carries both UL/CUL certification and adheres to national ANSI C12.20 accuracy standards, as well as MID accuracy standards. The utilised BACnet protocol is BL certified and the device is also compatible with MV-90.
This product features an advanced 4-line display, which provides a comprehensive snapshot of the system state, including kWh, kW demand, power factor per phase, real-time load in kW, and both voltage and current per phase.
Notably, this instrument is equipped with a split-core current sensor type, which offers a 0 to 2 V current sensor output, affording precise reading and accuracy in control.
