This butterfly valve features a flanged design, delivering a Cv of 567 at a 60-degree stroke and 1850 at a 90-degree stroke. The valve body is composed of polyester-coated cast iron, ensuring resilience against weather conditions, chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and impact. It is encompassed by a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat for enhanced durability. The 416 stainless steel stem ensures stability and longevity.
The product accommodates sizes from 2 to 20 inches and is compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its design facilitates bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck, allowing for 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve disks are constructed of Nylon 11 coated, cast iron for corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and the accommodation of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. The stainless steel valve stem features a close-tolerance, internal double-D disk connection, designed without points for corrosion access.
Our butterfly valve ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off. It is suitable for service with hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. This valve exhibits an equal percentage flow characteristic and operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). It is capable of withstanding a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
