The Honeywell 2-way, 5-inch Butterfly Valve boasts a flanged design with a polyester coated, cast iron body for enhanced durability. It measures 428 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and a staggering 1376 Cv at a 90-degree stroke, enabled by a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and 416 stainless steel stem. The valve is designed to accommodate sizes from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, thus allowing for bi-directional flow. An extended neck is incorporated to allocate 2 inches of pipe insulation.

The valve features nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks for superior corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and compatibility with lower-torque actuators when used with larger valve body sizes. Additional protection against weathering, chemical reactions, ultra-violet rays, abrasion, and impact is ensured by a polyester-coated, cast iron body. The stainless steel valve stem minimizes internal corrosion with its close-tolerance, double-D disk connection that has no accessible points for corrosion.

The unit is guaranteed to prevent seat leakage at its rated close-off, ensuring a bubble tight seal. Being designed for service with both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, it features an equal percentage flow characteristic and can operate within a temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). It can withstand a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi, underscoring its operational robustness.
