The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-Way, 5-inch feature-rich device, characterized by its flanged design producing a Cv of 428 at a 60-degree stroke, and a Cv of 1376 at a 90-degree stroke. Displaying an exquisite craftsmanship, it has a polyester-coated cast iron body, boasting excellent durability against harsh weather, chemicals, ultra-violet rays, abrasions, and impact. The product’s interior features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat along with a 416 stainless steel stem which ensures a close tolerance internal double-D disk connection that is devoid of any corrosion access points.

Key features of this valve include a bi-directional flow, an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation and a range of sizes from 2 to 20 inches compatible with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections. The valve is also furnished with Nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks which enhance corrosion resistance, reduce friction, and facilitate the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. This impeccable valve design effectively guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

Suitable for both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, this valve has an equal percentage flow characteristic combined with an operating temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). The valve can also withstand the close-off pressure of up to 175 psi.
