The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 4-in valve, suitable for a range of sizes from 2 to 20 inches and compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Notably, it features a bi-directional flow, and an extended neck to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. This unit is built with a resilient seat made of peroxide-cured EPDM, providing excellent durability.

For maximum corrosion resistance, the valve disks are coated with Nylon 11, reducing friction and facilitating the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Ensuring both durability and protection, the cast-iron body of the valve is coated with polyester, fortified against weather, chemical effect, ultra-violet exposure, abrasion, and impact.

The valve design includes a 416 stainless steel stem, featuring a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, with no points for corrosion access. This structure allows for bubble-tight seat leakage even at rated close-off.

Servicing hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, the valve offers an equal percentage flow characteristic. Its capacity ranges from 274 Cv at a 60 degree stroke to 841 Cv at a 90 degree stroke. Built for diverse environment adaptability, it maintains effective performance at operating temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and withstands a close-off pressure up to 175 psi.
