The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 20-inch solution designed for effective flow control. It features a flanged design, able to deliver 7144 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 22339 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve body is composed of polyester-coated cast iron which offers superior weather, chemical, ultraviolet, abrasion, and impact resistance. This is complemented by a resilient seat of peroxide-cured EPDM and a 416 stainless steel stem.

This product accommodates sizes from 2 to 20 inches, supporting ANSI Class 125/150 Lug pipe connections. It allows for bi-directional flow facilitated by its extended neck which supports up to 2 inches of pipe insulation. Further addressing challenges relating to corrosion and friction, the valve features nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks. This innovative feature also allows for the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The stainless steel valve stem has a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection with no points for corrosion access, significantly enhancing the valve's long-term performance in various environments. Additionally, the product ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

From a technical perspective, this valve is compatible with hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, offering an equal percentage flow characteristic. With an operating temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and a close-off pressure of 150 psi, this Honeywell product stands as a reliable, durable, and high-performance solution for various industrial automation and control system needs.
