The valve's body is made of cast iron coated with polyester, imparting resilience against weather, chemical exposure, UV radiation, abrasion, and impact. It features a peroxide-cured EPDM seat, known for its robust resistance to chemicals and temperatures.

The stainless-steel stem of the Honeywell Butterfly Valve model, made of 416-grade material, is coupled with a double-D disk connection that eliminates any points for corrosion access, enhancing its durability.
