The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 2-inch device with a distinct flanged construction. The valve features a 61 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and is built to accommodate sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Bi-directional flow is a highlighted characteristic, augmented by an extended neck designed for 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve's disks are made from Nylon 11-coated, cast iron which not only enhances corrosion resistance but also reduces friction, allowing for the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The body of the valve is cast in iron and finished with a weather-resistant polyester coating that adds protection against chemicals, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impact. It utilizes a 416 stainless steel stem designed with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that provides no access points for corrosion.

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve also features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat that guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off. The valve is specifically designed for service with hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, and it demonstrates an equal percentage flow characteristic. Its operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and it functions efficiently at a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
