The valve body, fitted with an extended neck, supports up to 2 inches of pipe insulation, facilitating connections in an ANSI Class 125/150 Lug Pipe, ranging in size from 2 to 20 inches. Constructed for bi-directional flow, the cast iron disks are coated in Nylon 11 to ensure corrosion resistance and reduced friction, which in turn enables the usage of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.
The valve stem, made of 416 stainless steel, is designed with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, which eliminates the possibility of corrosion access points.
