Our Honeywell 2-way, 16-inch Butterfly Valve features a polyester coated cast iron body for enhanced durability and resistance. It has a high Cv, standing at 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 at a 90-degree stroke. The resilient seat is fashioned from peroxide-cured EPDM, while the stem is made from 416-grade stainless steel.

This butterfly valve is adaptable, with fitting sizes varying from 2 to 20 inches, and ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its unique design allows for bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck to provide space for 2 inches of pipe insulation.

The valve disk is made from cast iron that is coated with Nylon 11, providing resistance to corrosion, minimizing friction, and facilitating the usage of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. The cast iron valve body, coated with polyester, offers robust protection against abrasive elements, weather, chemicals, ultra-violet exposure, and impact.

The model includes a stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, eliminating any points that may potentially allow access for corrosion. This valve ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.
