The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, a 2-Way, 14-inch device, features a flanged construction with a Cv of 3384 at a 60-degree stroke, and 10538 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The resilient seat is made from peroxide-cured EPDM while the body is coated with polyester to ensure its durability. Fabricated from 416 stainless steel, the stem is designed to last long.

Available in sizes ranging from 2 inches to 20 inches, the valve pairs with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. An outstanding feature is its bi-directional flow, an extended neck facilitates 2 inches of pipe insulation. The disks, constituted from Nylon 11 coated cast iron, are resistant to corrosion, reduce friction, and are compatible with lower-torque actuators for larger valve body sizes.

The valve's body is crafted from cast iron, and a polyester coating ensures that it is protected from weathering, chemical influences, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and impact. The stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection eliminates any points susceptible to corrosion. The valves are engineered to ensure bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

In terms of technical specifications, the service is suitable for hot water, and chilled water-glycol solutions. The flow characteristic is equal percentage. Operating temperatures range from -40 F to 250 F or -40 C to 121 C. In addition, these valves can withstand a close-off pressure of 150 psi.
