The Honeywell 12 inch, 2-Way Butterfly Valve is a superior quality, finely engineered valve incorporating unique design features such as a polyester-coated cast iron body resistant to weather, chemicals, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impact damage, and an EPDM resilient seat enhanced with peroxide cure. Outstanding flow coefficients of 2563 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 8077 Cv at a 90-degree stroke attest to its high performance.

Available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, it includes ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its design ensures bidirectional flow and comes with an extended neck capable of accommodating 2 inches of pipe insulation. The corrosion-resistant cast iron disks are coated with Nylon 11, reducing friction and allowing the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The valve stem, made from 416 stainless steel, is connected to a close-tolerance internal double-D disk, effectively preventing corrosion access. Its sealing mechanism allows for bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off pressure. It is equipped to handle service involving hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, with an equal percentage flow characteristic. The valve operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and can withstand a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
