The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 12-inch control system designed for industrial automation. This valve is flanged, delivers a Cv of 2563 at a 60-degree stroke, and a Cv of 8077 at a 90-degree stroke. Encased in a durable polyester coated cast iron body, the valve features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem.
Further enhancing its functionality, this valve comes in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, all equipped with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections. The design enables bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck that accommodates 2 inches of pipe insulation.
An exceptional feature of this valve is the nylon 11 coated cast iron disks which show excellent resistance to corrosion, reduce friction and enable the use of lower-torque actuators alongside larger valve body sizes. Ensuring robust protection against weather conditions, chemicals, UV rays, abrasion, and impact, the valve body is coated with polyester.
The valve includes a stainless steel stem that features a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, designed to not allow any points of entry for corrosion. The valve is known for its bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.
Servicing hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, this valve showcases an equal percentage flow characteristic.
