The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way fixture with a 12-inch flange. This valve is equipped to handle Cv values of 2563 at a 60-degree stroke and 8077 at a 90-degree stroke. Constructed with a polyester-coated cast iron body, the Butterfly Valve features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem to maximize durability and efficiency. The valve comes in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, incorporating ANSI Class 125/150 Lug Pipe connections. A distinguishing feature of this valve is its ability to support bi-directional flow.
Constructed with an extended neck, the valve has the capacity to accommodate up to 2 inches of pipe insulation. Other noteworthy features include nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks which offer corrosion resistance, friction reduction, and compatibility with lower-torque actuators when used with larger valve body sizes. The valve body is comprised of cast iron with a polyester coating, making it sturdy enough to withstand weather, chemical exposure, ultra-violet rays, abrasions, and impacts. To ensure effective performance, a stainless steel valve stem is integrated into the design with a closely-toleranced internal double-D disk connection that leaves no points for corrosion access.
The valve also boasts bubble tight seat leakage at its rated close-off. This product is suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It operates with an equal percentage flow characteristic and can withstand temperatures from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Furthermore, it can tolerate a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi. As a reliable and long-lasting solution to your industrial control needs, the Honeywell Butterfly Valve is an industry standard.
