The Butterfly Valve is a 2-way valve with a 10-inch flange. This Honeywell product offers precise flow control and is designed to effectively manage heavy flow rates, as evidenced by its rating of 1710 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, and 5430 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The body of the valve is crafted from polyester-coated cast iron for enhanced durability, with a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat for added performance. The valve also features a 416 stainless steel stem for improved structural integrity.

The Butterfly Valve accommodates sizes from 2 to 20 inches and is designed to integrate seamlessly with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. The valve ensures bi-directional flow and features an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation.

This Honeywell controller is built with nylon 11-coated, cast iron disks, providing superior corrosion resistance against the environment. This reduces friction and allows for use with lower-torque actuators in conjunction with larger valve body sizes.

The cast iron valve body of this control system is polyester-coated, not only providing excellent weather and chemical resistance but also ensuring protection against ultra-violet exposure, abrasions, and impacts. The stainless steel valve stem has a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection without any points for corrosion access.

Its practicality is further enforced by its bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off. Its technical specifications include service with hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. The Butterfly Valve has an equal percentage flow characteristic and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). Additionally, it can withstand a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi.
