Honeywell Ball Valve Assembly, 2 Way, 1/2 in NPT - VBN2ABSA3000

The Honeywell Ball Valve Assembly is a robust 2-Way, 1/2 inch NPT characterized control valve that offers a Cv of 38, a direct coupled, non-spring return actuator with a fail-in-place feature, and operates at 24 VAC. It is composed of nickel chrome plated brass which ensures its durability. The valve assembly provides reduced B port Cv for constant loop flow, and it can be field-configured for either normally open or normally closed fail-safe position.

This Honeywell product offers sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to 3 inches with internal female NPT connections. One significant feature is the removable manual handle which aligns valve control during installation, or in case of a power failure. The shielding stem assembly is serviceable, and the valve can be installed in any of the four orientations. It provides a wide range of Cv options, from 0.33 to 270.

The valve perfectly installs in a globe valve T pattern which eliminates the need for extra elbows or piping. It is suitable for hot and chilled water with glycol solutions up to 50%. The equal percentage flow characteristic ensures consistent performance, while it operates ideally in a temperature between -22 F and 250 F. It has a safe Operating Pressure rating of 360 psi and consumes 6 VA of power.

Additionally, it is equipped with an electrical connection that supports field wiring of 18 to 20 AWG to screw terminals, and it is located under a removable access cover. The valve assembly functions efficiently within the temperature range of -4 F to 131 F. Its secure housing meets NEMA 2 and IP40 standards, which assures the high-quality performance of the product.
