Honeywell Ball Valve 2 Way 1-1/4 in 41 Cv

The Honeywell two-way Ball Valve features a control diameter of 1-1/4 inches and a flow capacity of 41 Cv. This Characterized Control Valve is plated with Nickel Chrome Brass and uses a 24 VAC direct coupled actuator to effect a fail-safe close. With a handling strength of 44 in-lb, the valve seamlessly integrates modulating and floating capabilities. Its output is switchable between two-positions on a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) interface.

Equipped to accommodate sizes from 1/2 inch to 3 inches, this Honeywell Ball Valve comes with internal Female NPT connections and can effectively maintain a steady loop flow thanks to the Reduced B Port Cv design. The valve’s fail-safe position can be field-configured to either the normally open or closed state, catering to various user-specific requirements. In case of power failures or during installation, the removable manual operating handle provides reliable control over the valve.

The valve allows the actuator to be mounted in any of the four orientations, offering operational flexibility. The stem assembly of the valve is shield-serviceable, and the valve offers a wide range of Cv options, from 033 to 299. The unique T-pattern design allows the valve to replace globe valves without the need for additional elbows or piping.

The valve is suitable for various media types including hot and chilled water, as well as glycol solutions up to 50% concentration. With an equal percentage flow characteristic, it operates efficiently in temperatures between -22F and 250F (-30C to 121C). It can handle maximum safe operating pressure ratings as high as 360 psi and consumes a negligible 5 VA power. The valve is designed to function optimally under conditions ranging from -40F to 150F (-40C to 65C).

Lastly, the Honeywell Ball Valve comes with a self-centering clamping shaft adapter and follows the NEMA 2, IP54 standards for its housing, thus enhancing durability and reliability.
