Part Number: IC695FTB001
The IC695FTB001 is an advanced active fiber interface designed to enhance the I/O capabilities of the IC695PMM335 PACMotion Multi-Axis Motion Controller. This interface provides a comprehensive array of configurable digital and analog I/O options tailored for sophisticated machine applications, facilitating motion-centric I/O arrangements that can be positioned up to 100 meters away from the RX3i rack. The IC695FTB001 supports the distribution of servo amplifiers and motion I/O over a maximum distance of 400 meters from the controller, ensuring optimal flexibility in system design.
In addition to standard I/O functions, this interface is equipped with specialized motion-specific features, including Touch Probe inputs, Over Travel Limit switches, Home switches, and A Quad B Encoder and Marker inputs. It incorporates Horner APG +/-10V isolated analog input modules offering four channels with 14-bit resolution, characterized by both channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation. The module converts voltage input signals to digital values ranging from -32,000 to +32,000, which are integrated directly into the %AI table of the PLC CPU. Each channel is programmable with setpoints defined within the PLC program, activating corresponding digital inputs (%I) when the input values reach or exceed the specified thresholds.
The IC695FTB001 boasts a steady-state power consumption of 0.4W / 80mA at 5V and 2.16W / 90mA at 24V for the ADC405, while the ADC410 operates at 0.7W / 140mA at 5V and 1.2W / 50mA at 24V. It requires a power supply range of 19.2VDC - 28.8VDC with a maximum output of 0.45 Amps at 24V, and features 8 optically isolated 24V outputs with open load and short detection, along with 16 general-purpose optically isolated inputs/outputs. Additionally, the module supports two +/-10V differential analog inputs, two +/-10V single-ended analog outputs, and a 0.5 amp maximum output for the 5V power supply. Open circuit detection is available for the quad encoder inputs, and I/O function assignments are fully configurable to accommodate diverse application needs.
