This unit preserves user memory within the controller by supplying adequate power when system power is interrupted, allowing the controller to write user memory contents to non-volatile storage. Upon restoration of power, the controller can retrieve the stored user memory if configured to start from RAM. To operate effectively, this Energy Pack requires a compatible 24Vdc, 72W SELV power supply, along with an 18 AWG (0.82 mm²) copper power cord and an additional 18 AWG (0.82 mm²) copper wire for frame grounding. An input power terminal block is included for convenient installation, and a small flat-head screwdriver is recommended for secure connections.
