The GE Fanuc IC694MDL350 is a high-performance output module designed for the RX3i PACSystems, featuring 16 isolated output points with a rated voltage of 120/240 volts AC. This module is engineered to provide enhanced protection against transient electrical noise, eliminating the need for an external snubber. Each of the 16 outputs can manage a variety of inductive and incandescent loads, with a maximum output current of 2A per point and a total maximum of 5A per module. An external AC power supply is required for operation.
For easy configuration, a DIP switch located on the rear of the module allows users to set the output default mode to either Force Off or Hold Last State. It is important to remove the module from the backplane to access this switch. The front side of the IC694MDL350 features indication LEDs that visually display the ON and OFF status of each output while monitoring the associated terminal block. Additionally, two red bands on the door card signal the user to the module's high-voltage status.
The module is compatible with various terminal block types, including box-style, spring-style, and extended versions, which provide extra shroud depth for field wiring. Please note that terminal blocks must be purchased separately. The IC694MDL350 fits in any RX3i system I/O slot, but it requires a version 3.50 or greater RX3i CPU for operation and is not suitable for use with the 90-30 series PLC CPUs. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius for standard use and can be stored at temperatures between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius.
