The IC694BEM320 is a high-performance Rx3i I/O Link Interface module, designed to function as a slave within the GE I/O Link network. This versatile module integrates seamlessly with the PACSystem engine and is capable of exchanging either 32 or 64 input/output points with various master systems. Compatible master types include PACSystems, Series 90-30, Series 90-70, as well as several GE CNC models such as the Series 15, Series 16, Series 18, Series 0 Model C, and the GE F-D Mate CNC, allowing for flexibility in installation choices. The IC694BEM320 installs easily into any available backplane slot in the RX3i or Series 90-30 PLC, and the number of I/O Link Interface Modules that can be supported is contingent upon the power supply available. Although multiple I/O Link Interface Modules in a system typically utilize separate links, configurations can be adjusted to allow multiple links on the same interface if required. This standard RX3i module features a removable front cover that provides access to a jumper plug, used to configure the module’s point selection; the factory default setting is for 32 points, with the option to switch to 64 points. The front of the module is equipped with two 20-point pin connectors, and signal levels are compatible with RS422/485 standards. The module showcases LED indicators for operational status (OK) and readiness (RDY).
