Part Number: IC694ALG542
The IC694ALG542 Analog Current/Voltage Module is designed by GE Fanuc for the PACSystems RX3i platform, providing advanced diagnostics and mixed I/O functionality with four differential input channels and two single-ended output channels. Each channel can be configured using Machine Edition software for multiple voltage and current ranges, including unipolar (0 to +10 volts), bipolar (-10 to +10 volts), and current ranges of 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA. The input channels can also operate in an enhanced mode capable of 4-20 mA. Output channels feature options for either maintaining the last state or reverting to the low end of the power range in the event of a power interruption. Additionally, these outputs can operate in ramp mode, allowing the output value to transition gradually over time as commanded by the application program. Parameters such as high and low limits can be set for each channel, and open wire faults are reported to the CPU for individual outputs. The module includes features for open circuit detection, configurable scaling, offsets per channel, and alarm detection and reporting, along with comprehensive fault reporting capabilities supported by full diagnostic point fault contacts within the logic program. Firmware upgrades are supported. For installation, the IC694ALG542 requires 150 mA plus loop current from an external 24V DC source, and it supports insertion and removal from an RX3i universal backplane. The module operates with an update rate of 2ms. It occupies a single slot and has a power consumption of 95 mA at 5V and 150 mA at 24V DC external.
