The IC694ALG233 is a PACSystems RX3i Analog Current Input Module featuring 16 single-ended input channels. This versatile module can be configured using software for three distinct input ranges: 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, and the Enhanced 4 to 20 mA range. Notably, the Enhanced range includes a low alarm limit that facilitates open-wire fault detection, effectively identifying a lack of input current between 4 mA and 0 mA. The module consistently monitors both its status and the status of the external power supply, reporting this information to the CPU via designated program reference addresses. Designed for integration within an RX3i system, the IC694ALG233 must be installed in an I/O slot equipped with a serial connector, and its software configuration eliminates the need for any adjustable jumpers. It also supports open-circuit detection for all inputs when using the Enhanced Range.
