The GE Fanuc IC694ALG222 is a 16-channel analog voltage input module designed for the RX3i PACSystems. This versatile module offers 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels, allowing for flexible configuration via configuration software. It supports two input ranges: a unipolar range of 0 to 10 V and a default bipolar range of -10 to +10 V, with configurable high and low alarm limits applicable to both range types.

Installation of the IC694ALG222 can be accomplished in any I/O slot within an RX3i system, although the location impacts the power supply requirements. If installed in a Universal Backplane, an external isolated +24 VDC power source must be connected through the TB1 connector located on the left side of the backplane. Conversely, when placed in an Expansion Backplane, the module receives isolated +24 VDC power directly from the system's power supply. The module features a MODULE OK LED that indicates status on power-up; a steady ON LED signifies correct module configuration and operational status, while an OFF LED indicates either no backplane power or a watchdog timer timeout. Continuous rapid flashing denotes an absence of configuration data from the CPU, while a slow flash followed by OFF signals failed power-up diagnostics or a code execution error. Additionally, the Module P/S LED provides verification that the module's +5 VDC supply is at an acceptable level.

In terms of technical specifications, the IC694ALG222 supports a maximum update rate of 6 milliseconds for all 16 channels in single-ended mode and 3 milliseconds for 8 channels in differential mode, with a linearity of less than 1 LSB. The module also features an isolation voltage of 250 volts AC for continuous operation and up to 1500 volts AC for one minute. Cross-channel rejection is measured at less than 80 decibels from DC to 1 kilohertz, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial applications.
