The GE Fanuc IC693PRG300 is a G300 Hand-Held Programmer (HHP) designed to facilitate the development, debugging, and monitoring of logic programs within the Series 90-30 PLC environment. This versatile tool allows users to monitor data tables and configure parameters for various PLC units and input/output points, employing the Statement List Language for programming. However, it is important to note that the HHP is not capable of viewing or editing user logic programs in Series 90-30 CPU models 350 and above; users with these models are encouraged to utilize Logicmaster 90-30, VersaPro, or Control programming software instead. Connectivity is achieved through a 15-pin D-type connector located on the baseplate of the power supply in the CPU, allowing the HHP to interface directly with the CPU's serial port. A 6-foot (2-meter) cable, designated as IC693CBL303, is recommended for this connection, supplying power to the HHP and signaling the PLC that the HHP is connected. Notably, the HHP can be connected or disconnected while the PLC remains powered, and no additional communication parameter configuration is required to establish communication, simplifying troubleshooting in the event of a communication issue between the HHP and PLC.
