The GE Fanuc IC693PIF300 is a personal computer interface card (PCIF) designed for seamless integration with industrial automation systems. This component fits into any AT or ISA Bus 8-bit slot on a personal computer, facilitating a connection with up to four GE Fanuc 90-30 Expansion or Remote I/O racks. This capability allows the PC to monitor or control a maximum of 1280 bytes of I/O data, utilizing various computer programming languages or compatible third-party control software. The PCIF supports a broad range of analog and digital modules, enhancing its versatility in diverse applications. A key feature includes a watchdog-supervised RUN output signal and relay, which integrates effectively with safety circuits, with access provided via a three-pin removable terminal strip.
