The IC693PCM300 is available in three versions: IC693PCM300, IC693PCM301, and IC693PCM302, and is engineered to interface seamlessly with various devices including barcode readers, printers, scales, CRTs, programming terminals, and RTU master devices. Installation of the PCM is confined to the CPU base plate, where it cannot be placed in slot 1, which is designated for the CPU module.

Diagnostic LED indicators are integral to the module’s operation, with two LEDs providing real-time activity feedback for Port 1 and Port 2. Both LEDs remain off during inactivity, while users have the option to customize their functions according to specific operational requirements. To ensure RAM memory integrity, a Lithium battery is incorporated within the PCM faceplate, which is disconnected prior to shipment and should be connected before installation. For extended storage periods, users are advised to disconnect the battery to preserve any saved programs in RAM.
