The IC693CBL300 is a high-performance I/O bus expansion cable, commonly referred to as a “Wye cable.” This cable features a single male 25-pin D connector on one end and a dual-headed 25-pin D connector on the opposite end, which includes one male and one female connector. Measuring 3 feet (1 meter) in length, this pre-wired expansion cable is designed for seamless connectivity between expansion or remote base plates. For applications that require a specific cable length beyond standard options, custom cables can be constructed. There are two configurations available for custom cables: the Point-to-Point Wye and the standard Point-to-Point cable. The Point-to-Point cable is designed with a single male connector on one end and a single female connector on the other, simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing lead time. In contrast, the Wye cable configuration maintains the single male and dual-ended connectors as specified.
