The IC200MDL744 is a robust output module within the VersaMax family of components from GE Intelligent Platforms, designed to facilitate discrete output control across industrial automation applications. This module features two groups of 16 discrete output points, which can be configured as either negative logic type or sinking type, enabling load switching on the negative side of the power supply while effectively managing load current. To ensure functionality, the IC200MDL744 requires a carrier base from the IC200CHS series. Each output point is equipped with an LED status indicator that reflects backplane power supply conditions, remaining independent of the connected loads. In addition to the standard backplane power source, a supplemental power supply is necessary for effective load switching operations. The module exhibits a 5-volt backplane current consumption of 140 milliamps and operates in two modes: transistor-transistor logic (TTL) mode at a nominal output of 5 volts DC, and voltage direct current (VDC) mode with output levels of 12/24 volts DC.
