The IC200MDL144 is a 240 VAC Isolated Input Module designed with four isolated discrete inputs, utilizing positive logic or sourcing type inputs. This module detects current from AC input devices and returns it to the common terminal during operation. Connections to input devices are made through dedicated input and common terminals. Power is supplied by the backplane, with intelligent processing handled by the Network Interface Unit (NIU) or Central Processing Unit (CPU). The module features LED indicators for on/off status and backplane power presence. To ensure compatibility, the IC200MDL144 requires a box, barrier, or spring-style carrier with revision B or later and is not compatible with connector-style carriers. Isolation capabilities are rated at 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC for one minute between user inputs and logic/frame ground, as well as for point-to-point connections. The backplane current consumption at 5V is consistently 30 mA, with an input voltage range of 0 to 264 VAC, nominally 240 VAC.
