The IC200MDL140 is a VersaMax AC Input Module designed for discrete input applications within industrial automation systems. This module features positive logic sourcing type inputs, allowing it to receive current from AC input devices and return it to the common terminal. It offers a single group of eight discrete inputs, which connect between the input and common terminals for effective control and monitoring. Power for the IC200MDL140 is supplied via the backplane, with intelligent processing managed by the CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU). Each input point is equipped with LED indicators to display the on/off state, as well as an OK indicator to confirm backplane power presence. Prior to installation, users should conduct a visual inspection of the module for any signs of damage, as introducing a damaged module into a CPU can lead to further complications.
