The IC200MDD846 is a versatile mixed module from GE Automation and Controls, designed for enhanced modular flexibility in industrial automation systems. This module integrates eight discrete input points and eight discrete output points, allowing for efficient management of signal processing within a single unit. It requires an IC200CHSxxx carrier base to operate effectively. The input points are compatible with sourcing-type and positive logic configurations, drawing electrical current from connected devices to a common line. With output points rated for a current load of up to 2 amperes, this module features Form A relays equipped with a fixed coil, moving armature, and silver contact, ensuring reliable operation and electrical isolation for each output. Status indication is facilitated by dedicated LED lights for each input and output point, supplemented by an 'OK' LED that alerts users to the presence of backplane power.
