The IC200MDD842 is a discrete mixed module from the GE Intelligent Platforms VersaMax family, designed for industrial control applications. This module integrates both discrete inputs and outputs within a single device, featuring a total of 32 configurable points distributed across three groups: 16 discrete outputs and two groups of 8 discrete inputs. The inputs can operate in either positive or negative logic configurations, providing flexibility for various applications. It is important to note that to enable negative logic functionality, the device must be upgraded to at least the IC200MDD842B version.

Equipped with Electronic Short Circuit Protection (ESCP), the outputs of the IC200MDD842 ensure reliable operation by offering short circuit, electronic overcurrent protection, and free-wheeling diodes for each output point. While the module does not support channel isolation, it is capable of diagnosing faults, such as overloads or shorts, alerting users through corresponding LED indicators for each input and output point.
