GE Fanuc IC200CHS102

The IC200CHS102 is an I/O Interposing Disconnect Style expansion base featuring 16 points, designed by GE Automation and Controls as part of the VersaMax series. This expansion base facilitates the connection of field wiring to various connector-style carriers within the VersaMax series and offers integrated disconnect functionality for all field devices connected to the I/O module. Each field device can be individually disconnected using either the signal or return knife switch, enabling maintenance without impacting the entire system. It is compatible with a range of discrete modules, excluding the MDL144, MDL244, MDL331, MDL730, MDD840, MDD843, and MDD850. The IC200CHS102 utilizes a box-style termination for wiring, with a non-integrated field termination, and does not support removable terminal connectors. Dimensions for the unit are 2.6 inches (65 mm) deep, 4.5 inches (115 mm) wide, and 4.95 inches (126 mm) tall, with a total weight of approximately two pounds (0.9 kg), exclusive of DIN rail height. The device features J1 and J2 connection ports and supports a total of 36 box-style terminals for field wiring and power connections. This product requires the IC200CHS101 main base for operation and should not be directly connected to the IC200CHS003 base. To establish a connection with the IC200CHS101, simply attach the included ribbon cable from the J2 port of the IC200CHS102 to the expansion port on the main base.
