The IC200CHS002 is a Box-Style I/O Carrier designed for use with the GE Fanuc VersaMax series controllers. This versatile carrier features 36 IEC box-style terminals and supports backplane communications, mounting, and field wiring for a single input-output module. It is capable of accommodating a maximum of 32 input-output points, along with 4 shared power connections. The IC200CHS002 includes user-friendly keying controls that ensure correct module installation, with keys designed to match the module’s keying at the base. Its integrated male/female connectors simplify backplane connections, eliminating the need for additional cables or tools. A module latch hole secures the module to the carrier, while a transparent hinged door provides protection for the wiring terminals. Additionally, an auxiliary input-output terminal strip offers extra bussed connection points. The carrier easily attaches to a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail and requires proper grounding for effective EMC protection; a conductive corrosion-resistant finish is recommended for the rail. For applications subject to mechanical vibration and shock, panel mounting of the IC200CHS002 is advised. The terminal blocks are designed to accommodate one solid or stranded wire of AWG 14 to AWG 22, or two wires of up to AWG 18 during field wiring.
